This week in Math, students will continue to read, represent, compare and order whole numbers to 1 000 000 *grade 6 and 100 000 *grade 5. Exit tickets on classroom activities will take place this week to assess their understanding of this concept. Students can practice at home with provided worksheets and websites (see below) to clarify understanding.

In French, students continue to meet with me to assess their independent reading level. We are learning to write descriptive paragraphs and scientific explanations as we tackle our first Science unit - Space (grade 6) and Human Body Systems (5).
Students are reminded to bring back their library books on DAY 2 as this is our scheduled library day with Mr. Ayotte.
ITEMS to be purchased: Please ensure that your child has a DUDLEY lock for their locker. A calculator and protractor would be good additions to their school tools.
